Convicted terrorist Oscar Lopez Rivera is at it again, demanding that mainland Americans helping hurricane-ravaged Puerto Rico return home.

Lopez Rivera, who just celebrated his 75th birthday, leveled the Yankee-go-home rant Sunday in remarks broadcast on the Spanish-language TV station Telemundo.

“They should go. Just go. Just go,” he said. “We don’t need anything from them. We don’t need them to govern. They need us, and they have needed us since 1898.”

The year he cited is when the US invaded Puerto Rico and it became an American possession. Lopez Rivera also accused President Trump of being corrupt.

Lopez Rivera, who has received unwavering support from former City Council Speaker Melissa Mark-Viverito, did not immediately respond.

She infamously accompanied Lopez Rivera over the summer on a Puerto Rican Day parade float.

The Post revealed in July that a Harlem non-profit bankrolled with taxpayer funds from Mark-Viverito helped construct the float.

Lopez Rivera was a member of the Puerto Rican terrorist group FALN and spent 35 years in prison for seditious conspiracy.

Many sponsors boycotted the Puerto Rican parade when they heard Lopez Rivera would march in it and be honored.

BREAKING: Terrorist Hero Oscar López Rivera Plotted To Kill His Way Out Of Leavenworth

Before he was a “humble Puerto Rican grandfather,” Oscar López Rivera was the grandaddy of terror.

López Rivera — who Thursday declined to be honored in the Puerto Rican Day Parade and instead said he would march as “humble Puerto Rican and grandfather” — plotted to kill guards and blow up government buildings in an escape scheme from a federal prison where he was doing time for trying to overthrow the US government, according to a 1999 report from the House Government Reform Committee.

First locked up in 1981, Lopez Rivera spent more than two years masterminding a violent plot to escape Kansas’ Leavenworth Penitentiary along with several other members of his Puerto Rican terrorist group FALN.

While imprisoned, López Rivera gave a fellow inmate with connections to weapons smugglers a shopping list that included “fragmentation grenades, smoke grenades, phosphorous grenades, eight M-16 rifles, two silencers, 50 pounds of plastic C-4 explosives, eight bulletproof vests, 10 blasting caps to use with plastic explosives, and 100 30-shot clips for use with automatic weapons,” according to the report.

The plan called for FALN members to shoot guards and lob grenades at guard towers while members on the outside airlifted prisoners out with a helicopter.

Former President Barack Obama in January freed López Rivera, 74.

Battle Between Mayor de Blasio And NYPD Goes Nuclear. Mayor Honors Terrorist – Cop Killer Oscar Lopez Rivera

Mayor de Blasio says he’ll march in the National Puerto Rican Day Parade despite its honoring of Oscar López Rivera, an unrepentant terrorist leader.

The mayor’s trying to dodge that fact. On Wednesday, he spoke of OLR’s ties to the FALN, which “did things I don’t agree with, obviously, and they were illegal.”

But López Rivera wasn’t just affiliated with the FALN terrorists — he was a leader of their Chicago cell. And when the FBI arrested him all those years ago, it found dynamite, detonators and firearms in two of his homes. At trial, a witness testified that López Rivera trained him in making bombs.

Why does de Blasio claim he has renounced terror? City Hall cites OLR’s words to the Guardian: “We realized other tactics to armed force could be more effective,” followed by “Morally, we came to see . . . that if we are advocating for a better world then there are things you cannot do,” plus, “We have transcended violence.”

None of which repudiates his past actions.

And he still scorns the FALN’s victims. In a recent interview, he recalls his attitude toward surviving family members at his 2011 parole hearing: “If you don’t respect me, why should I reciprocate? I wasn’t there to tell them, ‘Hey, listen, I’m sorry.’ That’s not me.”

You see why the NYPD Hispanic Society says it won’t march in the parade, and why more sponsors may follow Goya Foods in withdrawing.

De Blasio is mayor of a town targeted by the FALN then and by other terrorists now, a city that lost thousands on 9/11. He skipped the St. Patrick’s Day Parade when he thought it sent the wrong message. He ought to do the same now.

President Insults All Police Officers in U.S.

The day before he left office President Obama did a despicable act. He pardoned a murder and terrorist who murdered police officers and blinded one of them.

  • Oscar Lopez-Rivera helped establish the violent Puerto Rican independence group FALN (Fuerza Armadas de Liberacion Nacional, Spanish for Armed Forces of National Liberation).
  • The group is best known for bombing Fraunces Tavern in lower Manhattan in 1975, an attack that killed four, as well as a 1982 strike on NYPD headquarters.
  • Lopez Rivera Admitted to His Crimes During His 1981 Sentencing Hearing, but Called Himself a Political Prisoner.
  • To add insult to injury on May 16, 2016 Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders tweeted, “Oscar Lopez Rivera has served 34 years in prison for his commitment to Puerto Rico’s independence. I say to President Obama: let him out.”

What a disgrace!
